Christian Faith and Daily Life Yugo Suzuki, Pastor- -Building Stairs between First Floor and Second Floor
On Sunday we Christians go to church to worship, have fellowship, participate in Bible study and go home. From Monday on, ordinary daily life begins. There we worry about family matters, are concerned about how to get along with colleagues at the job, frightened by international situation, and anxious about domestic social problems.

How should we face these problems as Christians? There are no cut and dry answers to any of them. And we should not expect them. People disagree on important issues; Christians are no exceptions. And yet, there are certain perspectives and ways of dealing with them that are unique to Christians. There are certain value judgments without which Christian life does not hold itself. As responsible Christians, we must build stairs between second floor (faith) and first floor (daily life).

On that basis, I would like to invite you to bi-lingual study sessions entitled “Christian Faith and Daily Life” as follows:

Dates: Five Wednesdays in October (1,8,15,22,29)
Time: 7:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m.
Place: Social Hall

Baptism Class, Sunday mornings-10AM-for those who are contemplating baptism. It will meet in pastor's office (fourth floor) every Sunday morning at 10am, beginning September 21. This will continue through October 19 (five sessions). If you are interested, please contact the pastor.

Japanese Bible Study on Sunday afternoons-Since Rev. Suzuki officially took office as a new interim pastor August 2006, bible studies have started on Sundays. We are grateful to the Lord! All are welcome to these bible studies. Schedules for all studies are as follows:
